Dr Hesham Omar Ali

Dr Ali graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University, Egypt in 2005 and completed his medical internship in 2007. He then commenced Radiology training at Cairo University Hospital, where he also obtained his Masters in 2011 and Medical Doctorate in 2016. After completing dedicated training in interventional radiology, he was appointed Assistant Lecturer, then Lecturer of Radiology at Cairo University.

He moved to Australia in late 2017, and completed two years of Paediatric Radiology fellowships in 2018 and 2019. In 2019 he was awarded FRANZCR and appointed as a staff specialist at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in 2020, held a VMO position at Nepean and Liverpool hospitals in Sydney, and as a Radiologist at Ashfield Radiology.

He currently practices at I-MED Radiology in Hervey Bay, QLD.
