About Dr Suresh de Silva

Dr De Silva joined the I-MED Radiology Network in 2017.He has a co-joint Lecturer appointment at the University of New South Wales. Dr De Silva is also passionate about philanthropy. He is the founder and current chairing Radiologist of the non-for-profit organisation, Radiology Across Borders (RAB). Through RAB, Dr De Silva demonstrated his passion for radiology education and commitment to training doctors in the Asia-Pacific region, delivering online training, collaborative and interdisciplinary research to establish Teleradiology all with a view to improve health care infrastructure. In addition to his philanthropic interests, Dr De Silva is committed to clinical and radiological research. In 2016 he completed a post-graduate degree in clinical trials research at the University of Sydney and has published in peer reviewed journals specifically in the area of urological/oncological work. He also serves on the review board for a number of local and international Journals as well as the RCC subcommittee for the peak research group ANZUP. Dr De Silva is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
