Dr Mohamed Arakkal

Mohamed Roshan Arakkal is a radiologist with more than 10 years of experience in a tertiary public hospital in the UAE, with special interests in Paediatric radiology and Emergency radiology. He fulfilled the roles of quality coordinator, administrator and head of department in Radiology in his previous job. 

Dr Arakkal completed his medical and residency training in radiology in India, and completed an MBA in the UAE. He has published articles in peer reviewed journals and worked as the adjunct faculty at University of Sharjah, UAE, teaching medical students. 

He is committed to providing patient-centered, evidence based and culturally sensitive care to patients, while leveraging technology and innovation to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes. Currently he is working at I-MED locations across Launceston, Tasmania.
