Dr Syed Noman Zaheer

Dr Syed Noman Zaheer (preferred name Noman) is a consultant radiologist and the clinical director of the I-MED Carina clinic located in Brisbane, Queensland.

After undertaking his initial medical degree in Pakistan and residencies in both the UK and Australia, Dr Zaheer completed his radiology training in Queensland, becoming a fellow of RANZCR in 2018.

In 2019 Dr Zaheer completed an MRI centred fellowship at Gold Coast University Hospital in Neuroradiology and Hepatobiliary imaging. He then went on to complete both a MSK radiology fellowship and mini-Neuroradiology fellowship through the Proscan group via MRI Online.

Apart from above sub-speciality interests, Dr Zaheer maintains a keen interest in prostate imaging and almost all ultrasound and CT guided procedures that are performed in a suburban radiology practice.

Away from radiology, Dr Zaheer’s outside interests include cooking, playing cricket and badminton and is an avid follower of soccer.

Professional appointments

Outside of I-MED, Dr Zaheer has an appointment with Queensland health as a Visiting Medial Officer in the medical imaging department at Ipswich General Hospital, where he reports diagnostic imaging cases and supervises the radiology registrars in training.
