About Krishna Saward

Krishna Saward joined I-MED Radiology in 2017 as Regional Manager for Northern Tasmania, leading the region's hospital and community clinic network. A proud Tasmanian, Krishna is passionate about ensuring regional and remote communities have access to the same standard of diagnostic imaging as metropolitan centres. During this time she led the introduction of PET services to the North of the state and helped establish International Medical Graduate (IMG) training across the state, along with radiology registrar rotations at the Launceston General Hospital, building a sustainable local pipeline of specialist radiology talent for Tasmania.

In 2022, Krishna moved to I-TeleRAD, I-MED's national teleradiology business, as Operations Manager. Recognising that teleradiology is fundamentally a people business, she focused on creating a workplace where radiologists feel valued, connected and supported to do their best work. Under her leadership the radiologist group grew by more than 100 doctors, with engagement and culture at the centre of that growth.

In 2026, she was appointed General Manager of I-TeleRAD, where she leads the business unit's operations, commercial partnerships, clinical governance and technology strategy, including the adoption of AI and workflow tools that help radiologists deliver faster, high quality care to patients who might otherwise wait days for a result.

Krishna's leadership is driven by a simple belief: great health services are built by great teams. She is passionate about creating environments where people can excel, and about using the scale and technology of a national network to bring top tier radiology expertise to every community, no matter how remote.
