e-Referral with Best Practice

Send your image requests electronically from within your Best Practice PMS. It’s fast, secure, and your patient gets a digital copy too!

Send radiology referrals from your Best Practice software electronically. There's no need to switch between programs or arrange to fax a copy to I-MED Radiology.

Once set up, all the doctors in your practice can use it to streamline the radiology referral process.

Setting up e-Referrals in your practice is easy.

Register for online support

Once submitted, we will be in contact to confirm a suitable date and time to complete the installation.

Already set up to send I-MED e-Referrals?

Integrate Medmate as a third-party integrator in your BP software.

Medmate is the e-Referral partner for I-MED Radiology. Medmate is now a part of the Best Practice Partnership Program as an approved third-party integrator, within Best Practice. If your practice has been set up to send e-Referrals to I-MED, you are required to add Medmate as a third-party integrator in your Best Practice software to avoid disruption to your e-Referral service.

NOTE: To approve Medmate as a third-party integration you will need to complete the BP database update released on 11 December 2023.

Watch the animation below to find out more. Alternatively, you can view these instructions for approving third-party integration via the Best Practice website.
