Associate Professor Suresh de Silva

Associate Professor De Silva joined the I-MED Radiology Network in 2017. He is an Associate Professor in Radiology, Faculty of Medicine University of New South Wales and is passionate about philanthropy. He is the founder and current chairing Radiologist of the non-for-profit organisation, Radiology Across Borders (RAB). Through RAB, Suresh demonstrated his passion for radiology education and commitment to training doctors in the Asia-Pacific region, delivering online training, collaborative and interdisciplinary research to establish Teleradiology all with a view to improve health care infrastructure. 

In addition to his philanthropic interests, he is committed to clinical and radiological research. In 2016 he completed a post-graduate degree in clinical trials research at the University of Sydney and has published in peer reviewed journals specifically in the area of urological/oncological work. He also serves on the review board for a number of local and international Journals as well as the RCC subcommittee for the peak research group ANZUP. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
