About Dr Becky Chan
Dr. Becky Chan completed her undergraduate degree in Advanced Science at the University of Sydney before going on to earn her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Queensland. She began her radiology training in 2021 at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and is currently practising as a general radiologist at I-MED Radiology Thuringowa. Dr. Chan's clinical practice encompasses general diagnostic radiology alongside CT-guided and ultrasound-guided procedures, including nerve root and facet injections, as well as a broad range of musculoskeletal interventions.
Dr. Chan is drawn to radiology for its direct impact on patient care and its pivotal role in guiding diagnosis and treatment across virtually every medical specialty. Among the advances she finds most compelling are minimally invasive image-guided procedures and techniques that deliver precision and accuracy while reducing complication rates and shortening patient recovery times.
