Dr Bridget Sutton

Dr Sutton completed her specialist training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in 2003 and was the first Women’s Imaging Fellow in Queensland.

She has since gained a wealth of expertise in tertiary level obstetric and gynaecological imaging and helped to shape the respected Centre for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment, and Women’s Imaging departments at the RBWH as a staff specialist. She has extensive experience in the field of fetal MRI and with Dr Stephen Sinnott, established the leading Fetal MRI unit in the country. She pioneered the Gynaecological MRI service at the RBWH and maintains a specialist appointment in fetal and pelvic MRI at the RBWH. 

In 2005, Dr Sutton and Dr Sinnott established so+gi Scan, Queensland’s premier obstetric and gynaecological imaging centre. She is published in medical journals, in addition to an extensive local and national lecture program.
