About Dr Christopher KF Wong
Dr Christopher Wong is a consultant radiologist specialised in paediatric imaging and interventional procedures. He currently practices out of I-MED clinics on the NSW Central Coast and the Prince of Wales Hospital.
Christopher has been instrumental in developing the department especially with paediatric interventional radiology and the paediatric training programme for radiology registrars and fellows. He has published numerous papers and has been a guest speaker at conferences.
Dr Christopher Wong joined I-MED Radiology in 2009 and has worked extensively across a number of clinics within the network. Completing a fellowship in Paediatric Radiology at the Michigan Children’s Hospital in the United States in 1997, Dr Wong specialises in paediatric imaging and interventional procedures.
Dr Wong was a Consultant Radiologist at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney for a decade where he served as Director of Radiology for four years. During this time, Dr Wong was instrumental in developing the radiology department, specifically paediatric interventional radiology and the paediatric training programme for radiology registrars and fellows.
Dr Wong’s academic contributions include numerous publications and guest speaking at radiology conferences. He has also served as the Associate Editor (Paediatrics) for the College journal and as President of The Australian and NZ Society for Paediatric Radiology.
Outside of the I-MED network, Dr Wong also consults from The Sydney Adventist Hospital, Prince of Wales Private Hospital and Campbelltown Hospital where he is a Visting Medical Officer.
