About Dr Gillian Long
Dr Gillian Long is an experienced Paediatric Radiologist and a Fellow of both the Royal College of Radiologists UK and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. Gillian trained in the UK and gained broad clinical experience prior to Radiology. She completed a Paediatric Radiology Fellowship at British Columbia Children's Hospital in Vancouver and was Consultant Paediatric Radiologist at Sheffield Children's Hospital in England for 5 years before coming to Australia in 2001.
In addition to working for I-MED Radiology, Gillian is also a Senior Staff Specialist at the Queensland Children's Hospital having previously worked at both the Mater and the Royal Children's Hospitals in Brisbane and has experience as Director of Radiology at the Royal Children's Hospital.
Dr Long has a degree in medical education and a keen interest in teaching with an active role in the education of Queensland Radiology trainees and has been a College examiner for many years.
