About Dr Greg Markson
Dr Greg Markson is a specialist radiologist with over twenty years radiology experience working in Greater Western Sydney. He has extensive expertise in MRI, specifically in neuroradiology, musculoskeletal and body imaging.
Dr Greg Markson earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Sydney in 1989 and later trained in radiology at Concord and Westmead Hospitals in Sydney. In 1996, Dr Markson was awarded the prestigious HR Sear prize for the most outstanding candidate in the examination for the Fellowship of the RANZCR. In 1998, he served as the MRI fellow at Westmead Hospital and had subsequent appointments at Westmead as a staff specialist and VMO.
Dr Markson moved into private practice, joining I-MED Radiology in 1999. During this time he gained significant exposure to MRI including neuro, body and MSK applications and, at present, works as the Chief radiologist at Campbelltown Private Hospital
His academic contributions include publications in radiology journals and conference presentations and reflect his interest in interventional procedures including spinal intervention.
Dr Markson is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
