Dr Guy O’Connell

Dr Guy O’Connell is a general radiologist providing high-end specialty services at our Prince of Wales Private Hospital clinic.

Dr Guy O’Connell graduated from the University of Queensland and then completed his Radiology training at the Royal Brisbane Hospital before subspecialising in Nuclear Medicine and PET at RPAH and St Vincent’s Hospitals, in Sydney. Dr O’Connell spent 15 years as a partner at Southern Radiology, primarily based in their Miranda rooms helping make it the most successful site in the SR group. Dr O’Connell’s broad range of skills makes him uniquely qualified to provide the high-end subspecialty services required by the pre-eminent medical community at POWPH. Dr O’Connell is honoured and pleased to bring his wealth of expertise, knowledge and enthusiasm to the position, leading a team of dedicated staff and advanced imaging technology at the POWPH Radiology department.
