About Dr Kim Williams
Dr Williams started her career as an ambulance officer working in rural NSW. An interest in anatomy led to her obtaining a Masters in anatomy and this was followed by her medical degree. Further study in the specialty of radiology at The Western Hospital in Melbourne and The John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, resulted in her being admitted as a Fellow of the Royal and New Zealand College of Radiologists. Dr Williams’s subspecialty radiological interests lie within women’s imaging, including breast and chest, and she has subsequently completed a fellowship in breast imaging.
An ongoing passion for rural medicine has seen Dr Williams return to rural NSW to work with local medical service providers. I-MED Radiology is excited to have her expertise and specialist skill set as part of the local Armidale team, bringing specialist medical imaging services to the local community.
