Dr Kughan Gunaratnam

Dr Kughan Gunaratnam is a specialist radiologist for 15 years and are now practicing in the Australian Capital Territory.

Dr Kughan Gunaratnam obtained his medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2005. He completed his medical residency at Westmead Hospital in Sydney and subsequently undertook accredited surgical training at John Hunter Hospital Network in Newcastle before making the switch to radiology.

He completed his radiology training and fellowship in paediatric imaging at Monash Health, Melbourne. Dr Gunaratnam commenced at I-MED in 2016 and has a particular interest in paediatric imaging, MRI, cardiac imaging (having Level A accreditation in CT Coronary Angiography), and experience in a wide range of image guided biopsies and injections.
