Dr Lorie Markowsky

Dr Lorie Markowsky is a fellowship-trained Neuroradiologist working at I-MED and Prince of
Wales Hospital in Sydney. Her work spans a broad range of acute emergency and outpatient
neurological presentations, with a particular interest in cerebrovascular and emergency
neuroimaging as well as dementia and neuro-oncology.

She completed her neuroradiology fellowship in Calgary, Canada, a major tertiary
neuroscience centre and the home of the ASPECTS stroke imaging score. The centre
provides comprehensive stroke and neurocritical care for Alberta and surrounding regions,
giving her extensive experience in the imaging of acute stroke and other neurological
emergencies which she uses regularly in both the public and private setting.
