About Dr Macy Lu
Dr Macy Lu is a General Radiologist with a broad range of diagnostic and procedural skills, including special interests in Women's, Neuro, MSK and Oncology Imaging.
She acquired her MBBS degree at the University of Queensland with the highest-Grade Point Average of 7 (previously having graduated with First Class Honours from the Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at UQ, as well as obtaining the top tertiary Entrance Score of 990). She subsequently obtained RANZCR Fellowship qualifications at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
Dr Lu's training included 6 months of advanced work in Women's Imaging with a further 6 months in Neuro/Head and Neck Imaging in her final year. Post-fellowship, Dr Lu completed an MSK fellowship with Fowler Simmons Radiology.
Dr Lu is passionate about advancing Radiology as a profession, collegial teamwork, lifelong learning, training, and mentoring. She is a member of the gender sub-committee of I-MED Radiology’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
