About Dr Ross McKay
Dr Ross McKay is an Interventional Radiologist (IR) who has been based in Coffs Harbour since 2014. He completed his medical training through the University of Sydney, there after training as a Radiologist at The Canberra Hospital, where he went on to complete fellowship training in IR.
He and his team of nurses and radiographers subsequently established an IR program at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus (CHHC), providing care to many patients since inception.
Dr McKay is a registered member of the Interventional Radiology Society of Australia (IRSA), and has also attained international recognition, completing his European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) membership in 2016. Ross is happy to be contacted to discuss complex cases and welcomes referrals from both GPs and specialists.

Oncology (including biopsies, TACE) venous access, Renal tract, Hepatobiliary, Upper GI (including RIG / Duodopa devices), Gynaecology (including uterine fibroid embolisation and pelvic vein congestion syndrome), Palliative care procedures (including PleurX), Trauma/GI embolisation.
