PART 2 KNEE
Diagnosing and managing common knee complaints in general practice
Tuesday 10th August 6.30 – 7.30 pm (AEST)
Dr Tomas O’Shea MBBS, FRANZCR
Radiologist, I-MED Radiology Network
Knee pain affects 25% of adults, and the prevalence has increased by 65% in the past 20 years. Many patients with pain have a history of trauma. Of all joints, the knee is most commonly affected by sports injuries, reducing the quality of life in young and physically active patients. In older patients, acute pathology is usually superimposed on chronic degeneration/osteoarthritis. Up to half of people over the age of 50 years report knee pain in any year, and a quarter of people will have severe and disabling pain.
In this interactive webinar presentation on the Knee, Dr Tomas O'Shea will focus on diagnosing and managing knee pain in general practice. Some clinical cases with specific radiology and management will follow. Attendees will be able to ask questions throughout, via the moderator.

Imaging for shoulder investigations include x-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI.
In this interactive webinar presentation on the Shoulder, Dr Justin Roebert will focus on diagnosing and managing shoulder injuries' in general practice. Some clinical cases with specific radiology and management will follow. Attendees will be able to ask questions throughout, via the moderator.
