Dr Kathyayini Murthy

Dr Kathyayini Murthy completed her medical and radiology training in Gujarat, India. During her training, she held a strong academic focus, gaining multiple gold medals during her MBBS and MD courses.

Dr Murthy moved to Australia in 2015 and undertook subspecialty training in paediatric Imaging at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne and the Queensland Children’s Hospital, Brisbane. She gained Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2016. Her areas of clinical expertise also include breast imaging, neuroradiology and oncologic imaging.

Dr Murthy is a staff specialist Radiologist at the Royal Brisbane and Women's hospital, where she is involved in mentoring and teaching Radiology trainees and participating in various Multidisciplinary Team meetings. She has previously worked as a paediatric Radiologist at QCH.
