Dr Rushani Samarakoon

Dr Rushani Samarakoon completed her medical degree in 2006. She subsequently obtained MD in Radiology from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2014. After working at University of North Carolina hospital in the United States as a body imaging fellow, she moved to Perth in 2016 and has obtained fellowship of Australian and New Zealand College of radiologists in 2017. 

Dr Samarakoon has completed advanced fellowships in Breast and Thoracic imaging in Royal Perth Hospital. She worked as a consultant radiologist with corporate radiology group before joining I MED Radiology. She has also held consultant appointment with SJOG Mount Lawley. Her sub speciality interests include Breast, chest imaging and ultrasound/CT guided procedures.
