Dr Hamza Shah has joined the I-MED Radiology Inner West team, reporting exclusively for the Ashfield and Campsie clinics. 

Dr Shah’s expertise includes general radiology across CT, Ultrasound and X-ray, with a particular focus on MRI of the abdomen and pelvis. His procedural interests include image-guided spinal and musculoskeletal injections, as well as selected superficial lymph node biopsies and thyroid fine-needle aspiration (FNA). 

Dr Shah obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar before completing his radiology residency training at Hamad Medical Corporation in 2017, followed by fellowship training in body imaging, specialising in the abdomen and pelvis, in 2019. 

He joined I-MED Radiology Cairns in July 2023 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in February 2025. In September 2026, Dr Shah joined I-MED Radiology Inner West Sydney, bringing his experience in general and body imaging to the Ashfield and Campsie clinics.

Dr Jennifer Tan is a Breast Imaging Radiologist with Alfred Imaging (now part of I-MED Radiology). 

She graduated from Medicine at UNSW and completed her Radiology training at Liverpool Hospital before undertaking a fellowship in Breast Imaging at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Following completion of her fellowship, she worked as a consultant radiologist at Prince of Wales Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick.

Dr Tan holds VMO appointments with BreastScreen NSW in several local health districts. Her subspecialty interest and expertise lie in Breast Imaging (diagnostic and screening) and Intervention, although she also enjoys Abdominal and Neuro Imaging.
