I-MED Radiology divests Jones Radiology shareholding
I-MED Radiology Network has sold its 49% shareholding in Jones Radiology to the South Australian practice’s partner doctors.
This reflects I-MED’s current strategic focus on investments that deliver benefits of scale to patients, referrers and its people.
I-MED Radiology CEO Dr Shrey Viranna said this decision supports the company’s long-term growth plans and reflects a direction it has been pursuing for some time.
“Our current strategy is to prioritise investment in our wholly owned clinic network and teleradiology services,” Dr Viranna explained.
“This ensures full alignment with our commitment to delivering outstanding patient outcomes through continued expansion of clinics, enhanced service offerings, and the adoption of innovative technology and equipment. It’s all part of our vision to grow our accessible, high-quality radiology network across Australia and New Zealand.”
I-MED has been a proud minority shareholder in Jones Radiology for 25 years and has valued its arrangement with the practice group.
“We sincerely thank the Jones Radiology team for being a valued part of the I-MED network over the years,” Dr Viranna added. “We wish them every success in their next chapter.”
