Dr Fred Lomas

Now semi-retired after a very active career in Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Ultrasound and Thyroidology, Dr Fred Lomas works one day a week at the I-MED Radiology ACT where he concentrates on head and neck Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine (including radioiodine treatment) and (painless) biopsy.

Combining fifty years of clinical and imaging experience in thyroid disease with great enthusiasm, Dr Fred Lomas is ideally qualified to produce meaningful reports which can give valuable guidance for patients. Because of time limitations he no longer undertakes long term management, but is happy to consult, address problems and outline individual management programmes.
