Dr Harendra Kumar Patel

Dr Patel completed his radiology training in Malaysia before coming to Australia to sub specialise in interventional neuroradiology. He has worked in Melbourne at Monash Medical Centre before joining I-MED Radiology Gippsland in 2012.

He describes how his interest in Neuroradiology stems from the fact that neurological conditions have subtle differences, and may appear almost similar in presentation, whether clinically or radiologically. Often with closer and detailed inspection, coupled with good clinical history, the 'puzzle' can be solved.

Neuroradiology is also one of the subspecialities that heavily make use of technical advancement in imaging - so it really does keep you interested and challenged.
