Dr Humza Carim

Dr Carim has been with I-MED Network since late 2012. He is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.

He initially worked as a Consultant and Lecturer at one of the largest Academic hospitals in Johannesburg where he gained experience in academic medicine, trauma radiology and the radiological manifestations of infectious disease, with a keen interest in teaching registrars and medical students.

Upon moving to Australia, Dr Carim successfully completed the FRANCR examinations and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.

He commenced work with I-MED Network in rural Tasmania as a Consultant Radiologist with an appointment as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of the Tasmanian (UTAS) and was once again involved in teaching and examining Medical students.

He currently works with I-MED Radiology at the St Andrews Private Hospital in Ipswich as a general Radiologist with a special interest in body MRI, Prostate and Breast imaging.
