About Dr Katrina Dahl
Dr Katrina Dahl is an experienced radiologist with a strong foundation in both clinical imaging and subspecialty practice. She began her healthcare career as a radiographer before completing her medical degree and radiology training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Queensland. Dr Dahl went on to complete advanced subspecialty training in thoracic and cardiac imaging at The Prince Charles Hospital and is an accredited reporter in CT Coronary Angiography and Cardiac MRI.
In 2017, she expanded her expertise into breast imaging, undertaking further subspecialty training with I-MED and BreastScreen Queensland. During her time with BreastScreen Queensland, Dr Dahl served as the designated radiologist for the Wide Bay service, where she was instrumental in implementing remote radiology services for the region.
Currently, Dr Dahl leads the breast clinic at the I-MED Caboolture Medical Hub and collaborates with breast imaging teams across Queensland to support service delivery in metro and regional areas. In 2023, she founded and continues to chair the Queensland/Northern Territory Breast Imaging Working Group, reflecting her commitment to professional leadership and sector-wide advancement.
Dr Dahl is passionate about improving patient care through innovation, multidisciplinary teamwork, education, quality assurance and strong partnerships with referring clinicians.
