About Dr Lakshmi Srinivasan

Dr. Lakshmi Srinivasan is a locally trained Paediatric, MRI and General Radiologist.

Having graduated from Monash University in 2005, Lakshmi went on to be accepted in the Paediatric Physician training program at the Royal Children's Hospital, and then commenced her Radiology training with Western Health.

Upon completion of her basic Radiology training in 2012, Lakshmi completed her 12 month Tertiary level Paediatric Fellowship at the world renowned Royal Children's hospital in Melbourne in 2013, with subspecialty interests in Musculoskeletal and bone tumour imaging. During this time she trained in all facets of Paediatric Radiology include Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, General Radiography and Interventional Radiology. Her experience with Paediatric Radiology also includes exposure to Paediatric trauma.

Following this, Lakshmi was accepted into the exclusive I-MED MRI Fellowship, completing a further 12 months at Victoria House Medical Imaging and St Vincent's Private Hospitals in Melbourne training in Musculoskeletal Radiology with further training at Cabrini Hospital Melbourne in Neuroradiology under the supervision of world class Radiologists.

Lakshmi has been with I-MED for 3 years, and in that time has conducted Paediatric Radiology sessions at St Vincent's Private Hospital, Cabrini Malvern, Camberwell and Werribee Mercy Hospital.

She is currently the clinic director of I-MED Wyndham, at the Wyndham Specialist medical centre, servicing the Western suburbs and Werribee Mercy Hospital with inpatient and outpatient MRI.

Lakshmi has commenced her own Paediatric Radiology clinic at I-MED Mont Albert on Fridays, offering x-Ray, ultrasound and low-dose CT.
