About Dr Paul Leschke

Dr Paul Leschke completed his radiology training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in 2013, followed by a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

In 2016, he received recognition for training in peripheral endovascular therapy by the conjoint committee (CCRTPET) and also in the same year gained the EBIR (European Board of Interventional Radiology) qualification from the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe.

Paul is also the director of interventional radiology at Sunshine Coast University Hospital and has been working for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service since 2015 to establish and build the interventional radiology service.

His subspecialty interests include embolisation for management of pelvic congestion, uterine fibroids, benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) and aortic endoleaks, as well as acute and chronic deep venous disease, liver directed therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma and endovascular management of portal hypertension.

Paul grew up on the Sunshine Coast where he now lives with his family, and is proud to serve the community he was raised in.
