About Dr Phil Edwards

After medical school at Oxford and Cambridge Universities, Dr Edwards joined the U.K. armed forces. He served as a UN peacekeeper in several conflict zones, and on a Trident nuclear submarine. 

Whilst in the military he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. He then returned to Cambridge for radiology training, and was the university’s first interventional radiology fellow. 

Dr Edwards started as a consultant in a London teaching hospital for a year, then moved to the United States where he worked as an interventional radiologist for over a decade. In 2014 he took up a position at a Sydney teaching hospital.

Dr Edwards performs all body interventions procedures, some neuro intervention, and pain management.
