Dr Waseem Nizamani

Dr Nizamani completed his radiology specialist training in Pakistan, citing radiology as being an essential part of primary health care, and the shortage of radiologists in rural Pakistan as two of the reasons he undertook this specialty. He has subsequently completed a radiology fellowship in the UK, a European diploma in radiology, and a fellowship in Neuroradiology, which saw his expertise utilised at one of the largest military hospitals in the Middle East.

Dr Nizamani’s commitment to providing radiology specialist services to rural areas continues in Australia, with him being located on the beautiful Fraser Coast Region of Queensland in  I-MED’s Maryborough clinic.
