Dr Wijeratne came to I-MED Radiology Gippsland from the UK after working in the North West as a breast specialist. She maintains that this subspecialty interest provides patient contact and the opportunity for procedural work - an ideal work balance.She believes radiology is central to the management of most medical conditions, it is constantly evolving and there is simply never a dull day at the office.

Dr Whiteley has a sub specialty in neonatal/ perinatal imaging, including foetal MRI. Dr Whiteley currently works at Monash Medical, Monash Children's as well as the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne and is keen to optimise and improve the paediatric imaging services for the Gippsland community.

After starting his undergraduate course in the University of Sydney, Dr Kapur transferred to Monash University to be closer to his family. His Initial interests were in Emergency Medicine as a career, however after a number of years he finally saw the light and believes radiology is the best job in medicine! While completing his post grad training at the Alfred he was seconded to the then Gippsland Diagnostic Service (now I-MED Radiology Gippsland) for three rotations and enjoyed it so much he stayed.
