Spirit of Country
Developed in collaboration with Mumbulla Creative, an Aboriginal agency located on Gadigal and Wangal land, the artwork depicts the I-MED story and our connection to Country. The story behind Spirit of Country is beautifully captured in this video.
Spirit of Country draws inspiration from the natural environment. Throughout the artwork, lines and shapes represent land formations and waterways to celebrate and acknowledge the many diverse Countries where I-MED provides its services across Australia. The large circle at the heart of the artwork, weaving pathways and smaller connected circles represents I-MED, patient care and compassion, and the many clinics that make up our Network. Organic lines and shapes are representative of Country and remind us that I-MED performs its work on land that always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
A heartfelt thank you to our DEI Cultural Inclusion sub-committee for championing this project.

In this video, I-MED Radiology’s Dr Sam MacArthur and Holly Tivendale discuss this hybrid approach and how referral to SPECT CT can provide specific information that allows better informed patient diagnosis and management. This session also explores some common case presentations and commonly asked questions surrounding nuclear medicine that will allow practitioners to better understand and apply the request for SPECT CT, ensuring a better patient outcome.
